Standing in support of Tamil Nadu in its fight against Covid-19, Xiaomi has donated Rs.25 Lakhs to the TN Government. The announcement was made my Xiaomi’s Global Vice President and MD of Xiaomi India’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain. He has also announced that the company is taking steps to sponsor 10,000 masks to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, TN Govt.
This donation is a part of the Rs.10 Crore pledge that was was made by the mobile phone maker to the PM’s Public Relief Fubd and Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund across various States of India. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edapaddi K.Palaniswami appreciated the generosity of Xiaomi for standing with the State in tough times.
