KMCH wins AHPI Best Patient Friendly Hospital Award

The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI) is a representative body of healthcare organizations in India. Every year AHPI presents awards to best performing hospitals based on onsite assessment under  different categories. These awards are given to encourage the best clinical and paramedical services.

This year more than 300 hospitals applied and competed for different awards. Amidst stiff competition, KMCH emerged victorious and won the Best Patient Friendly Hospital Award 2020.

The award was presented in AHPI Global Conclave held in Bengaluru on 7th February 2020. Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister for Fertilizers and Chemicals presented the award in the presence of Dr. Girdhar J. Gyani, Director General, AHPI and Dr. Alexander Thomas, President, AHPI.

More than 600 delegates from across the globe participated in the conclave. KMCH has been consequently winning the AHPI award since 2015. In 2015, KMCH won the Nursing Excellence Award. In 2016, KMCH won the Green Hospital Award. In 2017 KMCH won the Quality Beyond Accreditation Award. In 2018, KMCH won the Patient Friendly Award. In 2019 KMCH again won the Green Hospital Award and now in 2020 KMCH has won the Patient Friendly Hospital Award for the second time.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH said that these awards and recognitions encourage our hospital to perform better. They are the morale boosters for the doctors and staff who strive to offer world class healthcare services with dedication and commitment.
