The Students’ chapter of American Concrete Institute and the Department of Civil Engineering at PSG Institute of Technology & Applied Research, Coimbatore has organized an All India Students’ Concrete Cube Test Competition on 24.01.2020 and 25.01.2020.
About 49 teams comprising of 130 Civil Engineering students from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Telengana took part in the program and brought their concrete cubes as per the given guidelines of ICACI. Their concrete cubes were tested in the laboratory by a panel of expert members as per the standards. The winners will be awarded with prizes and certificates during the convention of India Chapter of American Concrete Institute, Mumbai. Dr.M.I.Abdul Aleem (HoD), S.Elayaraja (Convenor) and the office bearers of ACI Student chapter took care of organizing the program.
