Kovai Vidya Mandhir in association with Chrysalis- an organization that gives edu-solutions organized “Thinkroom Day” Celebration at the school campus at Avinashi Road, recently.
This day is celebrated every year in Kovai Vidya Mandhir on January. It’s a day for the Parents to witness how their Child Learns, Explores and Express in their Classrooms. Think Room day celebration feel that a Child can be Successful if he/she is Strong in Cognitive, Social and Emotional Aspects. On this day, the students of KVM exhibit their Projects, Activity and Play Skit to Express What they have done in the Entire Academic Year.
Pradev Aathivel, Correspondent, Kovai Vidya Mandhir School and Chrysalis team inaugurated this one-day event. About 327 students from Pre KG to grade 9 participated. The press release from the Kovai Vidya Mandhir, said that no child carries textbooks to a ThinkRoom ( a viable replacement for Classroom). In a ThinkRoom, every child is a creator and the learning material for the child needs to give them the freedom to listen, think and express in their unique way. This is the first step towards the child creating beautiful things on their own. Every child carries a unique Studio to the ThinkRoom. Studios are questioning-based learning materials that helps the child practice thinking in the cognitive, emotional, social and metacognitive domains.
Pradev Aathivel, Correspondent, Kovai Vidya Mandhir School says that the highlight of this one day Thinkroom celebration is about creative thinking, social emotion, and cognition which together is the formula for a student to get a success in his life career. The parents of the students very much appreciated the school management for organising this wonderful creative event.
