Pongal, the festival that celebrates farmers and agriculture is auspicious in Tamil Nadu and the spirit of this festival was welcomed by the students of PSG IM who changed the premier institute of management into a country side locale.
The students organized the event and the scenic atmosphere of the rural side was brought to life by the Vaadi Vaasal theme, the sugar can juice inside, the beat of the drums and most of all, making pongal in traditional clay pots.
It was learned that PSG IM is conducting this fest for the last 20 years and this year it is associated with Kovai Vizha. The students do the majority of organizing this event.
