The Lions Club and Youth Red Cross Clubs of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore in association with Indian Medical Association, Coimbatore Branch, and HDFC Bank, Coimbatore organized Blood Donation Camp in the College premises.
The Inaugural address was delivered by Sarasuwathy Khannaiyann, Managing Trustee, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust. Dr. Priya Satish Prabu, Executive Trustee and Secretary, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust felicitated the programme.
As a part of the celebration, a lecture on “Save a Life, Donate Blood” was delivered by Dr. T.K. Ganesan, Medical Officer, Indian Medical Association. A Blood Donation Camp was also organized; Nearly 80 students donated their blood. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Mohammed RafiqKhan, M. Selvapriya, Marrynal Eastaff and J. Deepak, Professors and Directors of Lions Club and S. Prabhu, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Youth Red Cross Club.
