EMURGO Academy, an education arm of EMURGO and Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences have joined hands over a new academic venture to launch an added course on Blockchain Technology for B.Tech and M.Tech aspirants of the department of Computer Science and Technology. Blockchain technology has gained a strong foothold in the Indian technology market in the recent past.
Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences and the EMURGO Academy have a shared objective to provide ample exposure to students in order to facilitate them to be industry-ready as a graduate. The MoU will serve to establish and implement joint efforts to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
The EMURGO Academy will train students in blockchain technology with an internationally aligned curriculum specially drafted by the SMEs. They will also provide opportunities to work on live projects that offer R&D advantage and access to employers across the globe. The exposure to international forums could benefit the students to be an autodidact and share knowledge across the globe at will. EMURGO also offers the opportunity to do an internship with EMURGO and other prominent companies along with a junior fellowship program.
