BCCI is organizing the Cooch Behar Trophy under 19 Tournament which commenced on 21.11.2019 all over India. Representing their State, Cricket Association from all the states of India are clashing on to take home the Championship Trophy.36 teams have been sorted into several groups and the matches are underway. CDCA -Sri Ramakrishna Institutions Turf Grounds hosted the match between our very own Tamil Nadu Team and Odisha.
D.Lakshminarayanaswamy, President, the Coimbatore District Cricket Association presided over the event and tossed the coin in the inaugural match.
The Guests of Honors were K.A.Shankar – Hon.Joint.Secretary , N.Venkataraman-Hon Asst.Secretary; J.Parthasarathy – Hon.Treasurer , The Tamilnadu Cricket Association. The Match Refree was Varun Kumar and the umpires were Piyush Khakhar , Indranil Chakravarti. The tournament ends on 15.02.2020 and the winners and best performers will find their way into India Under-19 Team.
