The Department of Commerce of Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science organized KCLASSIC QUEST ‘19 – General Knowledge Quiz for School Students on 21st August 2019 in association with YS Academy, Shankar IAS Academy and Brookefields Mall.
This quiz competition was held mainly for the students of grades 9 to 12. A total of 252 students from 20+ schools participated in the event with 2 students per team.
The Guest and the Host of the event was renowned Quizmaster Dr.M.Rangarajan, President of Coimbatore Quiz circle and CEO of Mind Games.
The first round was the preliminary round including videos, identifying the logos etc. At the end of the preliminary round 6 teams were selected for final round. Participants had to hit the buzzers and answer the audio visual clips, identification of logos and companies and many more which consisted of 6 rounds, inclusive of negative markings. R.K.Rohit and R.J.Darun of SBOA Matriculation Higher Secondary School emerged as winners of the event followed by P.Suraj and C.Lalit of Yuvabharathi Public School as runner-up and the third place was bagged by Seshank.B and Sri Vaibhav of Chinamaya International School. The event concluded with the distribution of cash prizes and certificates by Dr.Vijila Kennedy, Principal of Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science.
