Satchidananda Jothi NIkethan International School conducted an inter-school quiz competition in view of the celebration of 73rd Independence Day of India.
Nearly 40 students from Kovai Sahodaya School Complex in and around Coimbatore took part in the quiz competition with great vigour and enthusiasm.
In the preliminary round, six teams were selected as the finalists to be on stage. The six teams that appeared for the finals were PSG Public School, Geethanjali Public School, Chandrakanthi Public School , Vidhya Nikethan , Vivekananda Academy and The Lawrence School , Lovedale.
Lawrence School ,Lovedale bagged the first place and were given the rolling trophy and a cash prize of Rs.5,000. PSG Public School Bagged the second of Rs.3000 and Vidhya NIkethan got the third with RS. 2000.
Dr. Kavidasan, the Secretary of the school graced the occasion and gave away the prizes to the winners. Dr.V.Ganesan,the Academic Advisor, Dr.R.Umamaheswari, the Principal and Dr. S. Sakthivelu ,Vice-Principal of the school were also present for the event and appreciated the active participation of the students. P.Murugasen, Teacher of Geography was the quiz master of the day.
