The PG and Research Department of Biotechnology, Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Gender Equity Programme in the College premises. Dr. G. Rajalakshmi, Head of the Department welcomed the Gathering. The Inaugural address was delivered by Smt. Sarasuwathy Khannaiyann, Managing Trustee, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust. Dr. Priya Satish Prabu, Executive Trustee and Secretary, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust felicitated the programme. Dr. A. Ponnusamy, Principal of the College Presided over the event.
Dr. K. Manimekalai, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology introduced the Chief Guest, M. Vennila, Advocate, District High Court, Coimbatore. As a part of the Programme, she delivered a Guest lecture on “Gender Equity” . In her Speech, she emphasized the Importance of Women Empowerment, Rights and Equality. Dr. Mohammed RafiqKhan, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology rendered Vote of Thanks.
