Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, hosted its 14th Orientation program for the newly admitted B.E and B. Tech students at the institute premises on 4th August 2019 .

John Alok Decruz, mentioned how his passion and hardship towards his work helped him reach his dream. He urged the students to have the resilience to change and counseled the students to take profession as a life style.
Monica Naidu, Head-India Operations, TechnoGen India Pvt.Ltd, advised the young generation not to rely upon technology for emotional support. She instructed the students to be active in the society by not being a slave to the technology.
Senthil, Product Leader, Freshdesk, in his speech, expressed his valuable thoughts from the life skills that he received from his experience with a live example of how he started his career. He encouraged the students with the experience that he attained by becoming the founder of frilp.com.
Dr.S.Thangavelu, Chairman of Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, spoke on how the engineering studies and its applications have brought a lot of changes in the world. He stressed that development is possible only with engineers as they are the creators.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of the different events conducted by various clubs during the bridge course. On behalf of Eco-Club, saplings were given to all the parents.
