Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology conducted its Seventeenth Induction Programme for First Year B.E/B.Tech students on 01.08.2019 in the Open Air Auditorium. V. Ponraj, Former Advisor to (Late) Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, & Former Scientist-G (Aeronautical Development Agency, Ministry of Defence), Bangalore was the Chief Guest and delivered the special address. He congratulated all the students for choosing Engineering course. In his address, he stated that in the global arena of knowledge, students should have a broad outlook and pointed out that learning is a continuous process to succeed in life.
He mentioned that the students should always thank the parents and institution for the efforts in making them good citizens. He addressed that after completing their graduation, the students should translate the education to the benefit of the world. The students were asked to be patriot Indian and inculcate a lifelong learning as our former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Lakshminarayanaswamy, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore presided over the function. In his presidential address, he encouraged the students to utilise the facilities in the campus optimally. He also said that this day is the beginning of a new journey in their life. Dr. M. Paulraj, Principal, SRIT welcomed the gathering.
