The PG & Research Department of Biotechnology of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science conducted its Student Association’s (Biowarriors) Inauguration Program on July 11, 2019.
The Resource Person for the program was N.Sivarajasekar Assistant Professor – Grade II, Department of Biotechnology, Kumaraguru College of Technology.
The Chief Guest delivered a lecture on the topic “Phytochemicals Functional Foods Development and Biotech Start-Ups” in which he shared his innovative views and importance of different phytochemicals and their functions which played major role in protection against diseases and also he motivated the students to write research projects, explained about each grants and to patent different products.After the guest session, the Introduction of Association Office Bearers took place.
Earlier, G.Rajalakshmi, Head Department of Biotechnology delivered the welcome address, Sarasuwathy Khannaiyann, Managing Trustee, delivered the Inaugural Address ,Priya Satish Prabu, Executive Trustee and Secretary offered Felicitation and A. Ponnusamy Principal, HICAS rendered the Presidential Address. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by P.Senthil Kumar, Associate Professor, and Department of Biotechnology.
