Kalasha Fine Jewels – a unit of Caps Gold is hosting a jewelry exhibition showcasing the jeweler’s Royal Heritage and Vintage Collection. The Expo is being held at The Residency Towers and it is a 2-day event that began on July 4th and ends on the 5th.
The event had a train of elite guests of honors -Nidhi Gupta, National President Ladies Circle India, Abhiramhi Mahendran Vice Chair Person Expovan Group Of Companies, Vasanthi Sounder Rajan, Suguna Chicken Group , Dr.Suma Natarajan Md Dgo Fage, Head of Department, Ganga Women & Child Centre, Coimbatore, Pallavi Mandradiar, Secretary, VCV SishuVidyodaya.
The jewels featured are exclusive handcrafted jewels with the most talented designs from Hyderabad. The exhibition was curated by Aparna Sunku. While talking to her and Abhishek Chanda, Director, Kalasha we learned that Kalasha is headquartered in Hyderabad and once in every 6 months, the jeweler organizes an exhibition in Coimbatore.
“Kalasha stands for purity and sacredness. Our designers are from Jaipur, Bombay, Surat and Hyderabad. What makes us unique is the price and quality we give to our clientele. We offer customization to our clients as well”, said Aparna.
“The Nizami Jewllery we have introduced in this exhibition is a revival of the old and timeless designs that are adapted to the fashion of the modern young and bold generation. Our range starts at Rs.50,000. We specialize in bridal jewelry and we promote handcraft. 85% of our jewels are handmade and we don’t really depend on machines. Since we follow traditional handcrafted jewelry making process, we are able to offer employment to around 200-300 goldsmiths. The handcrafted jewels follow Deep Nakshini method- which takes around 3 months to make one jewel, so enough meticulous attention is given to each jewelry so that we could give our customers the highest level of satisfaction and sophistication”, explained Abhishek Chanda, Director, Kalasha.
