A request signed by nearly 3000 Industries and individuals of the area was made to widen the Nehru Maha Vidyalaya Malumachapati road, to extend local bus services from the main road up to the college premises. A request among others was also made to extend the facilities of a Sewage Treatment Plant to the college and permission to display the name of the college at the signal at the L&T road junction was presented.
The Minister accepted the representations and responded that the same will be favorably considered as per norms. The president honored the Minister with a Shawl on behalf of Coimbatore Welfare Association.
