Anaamalais Toyota, exclusive dealer for Toyota Kirloskar Motors HAS cordially welcomed its customers for the Fortuner Boot camp. The Fortuner is equipped with a range of technically advanced safety features like Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Assist Control (DAC) and Active Traction Control (A-TRC) among other features.
Anaamalais customers can experience the on and off-roading capabilities of the new Fortuner in a specially designed off-road track. The track starts with off with an 11 foot hill climb with steep incline and decline followed by a deep ditch. They can experience the Fortuner’s impressive 30 degree Approach & 25 degree Departure Angle, Hill Start and Downhill Assist control features. The stability of the vehicle with an optimum center of gravity can be savored on a 30 degree negative and positive side incline.
The Fortuner’s 4WD capability can be witnessed on a 3 foot deep trench followed by axle twisters. The Double Wishbone front and 4 Link Rear suspension will ensure a cushioned ride over the Chicken holes & Rumblers. Crossing the next challenge, a slush pit, will be a cakewalk for Anaamalais customers, thanks to the Fortuner’s Active Traction Control. The climax will be a 2.5 foot deep water pit to experience the Fortuner’s impressive 700 mm wading depth.
The Fortuner is powered by a Super GD 2.8 L diesel engine with all new 6-Speed Manual and Automatic Transmission. It is available in 4 variants, 4 x 2 – 6 speed MT, 4 x 2- 6 speed AT, 4 x 4- 6 speed MT & 4 x 4- 6 speed AT, 6 exciting exterior colors and 2 inviting interior color options.
