Nehru Institute of Technology hosted its 7th Graduation Day recently in an elegant manner.
Mohankumar, Principal, NIT, welcomed the Graduates. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI),delivered felicitation address and congratulated the Graduates. R. Nandagopal, Director XIME, Kochi was the Chief Guest.
During his speech he said, NIT is doing appreciably well in catering to educational needs of the students in Coimbatore and in the neighboring districts. He insisted institutions to involve in quality research which will help in the growth of Country. He spoke on various technologies like sensory devices, crypto currency, mobile banking, Big data, 3D printing, Autonomous car, High speed trains and advised students to adapt for fast changing technology. He also stressed importance of having Entrepreneurial society and opt for ethical business practices. He also congratulated all fellow graduates on completion of education at NIT.
NIT has bagged two university Ranks in the Anna University Examinations. In all 256 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students were awarded with the degrees by Anna University.
