The 11th Graduation Day of Dr.N.G.P. College of Education was held at the college Premises. P.R.Muthuswamy, Director – Academic, Dr.N.G.P.Educational Institutions was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The function started with an invocation. O.T.Buvaneswaran, Chief Executive Officer welcomed the gathering. K.R.Ramasamy, Principal presented the College Academic Report consisting various activities organized by the college. Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami, Chairman, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital delivered the Presidential Address signifying the role of a good teacher. He stressed upon education combined with discipline and conduct.
Dr.Arun N.Palaniswami, Trustee, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital graced the occasion. Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami, Secretary of the college, graced the occasion emphasizing the need for teachers who could be torch-bearers for future generation. The Chief Guest P.R.Muthuswamy delivered the graduation day address highlighting the characteristics of a good teacher. He also emphasized how a good teacher could transform a better society.
The Chief Guest presented the Degrees for 25 Graduates in person and 2 students in Absentia followed with the Graduation Pledge. Members of Faculty and the Parents were also present in the function.
