The city is all set to witness the 17th Edition of the Miss South India Beauty Contest, which is to be organized by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity and Pegasus Events on February 3rd, 2019. The prime partner of the event is Manappuram Finance Limited. A total of 24 contestants will be participating from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telegana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
The grooming session of the beauty contest begins on January 30th at SAJ Earth Resort & Convention Center, Kochi and will have three rounds- Designer Saree, Red Cocktail and Black Gown rounds. Eminent personalities from the film and fashion sectors will be present as judges and winners will be awarded a cash prize of INR 1Lac. The judges will also select regional title winners. People who have received the invitation are requested to wear black or red colored dress.
