The 28th Annual Sports meet of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women (SRCW), Coimbatore was held recently in Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
Chitra, Principal, SRCW presided over the event. S. Jayachandran,District Sports Officer & Youth Welfare Association I/C formally declared the Sports Meet open and lit the Olympic torch. The Torch was carried around the ground by the athletes of the college.
The students of different school houses sporting different colors performed a March Past. Various Track events and games were conducted.
The Chief Guest S.Jayachandran distributed the prizes to the Winners. The Overall Games & Athletic Championship Trophy were awarded to the Red Team. The Best Player Award went to R. Jayashree (lll- MCA) the Individual Athletic Championship went to Nivetha.N (B. sc (IT) llnd year, Haripriya.S (1-BBA (CA).
