Coimbatore: Rotary Club of Coimbatore Heritage conducted the Rotary Heritage Cricket League for the 2nd consecutive year successfully at Hindustan College grounds, Nava India. The matches were conducted on 5th & 6th of January. Participants were from Corporates, Industries, Social Clubs, Private Companies, NGOs team and likewise.
It was a tournament for a social cause towards raising funds for clean drinking water, basic sanitation facilities, healthcare in Govt.Schools and for women empowerment in under privileged communities.
A total of 16 teams from various organizations across Coimbatore and Tirupur districts participated in the tournament. Steps Sourcing team won the finals .The runner up teams during the tournament were Ozlooms and Eastman exports.
Prizes were distributed by District Governor Nominee Designate S.Rajasekhar. Other members who participated in the event were members of Rotary Heritage, GGR Vijayakumari and Thyagarajan.
