Kabaddi Tournament under 19 was organized in Dr. R. V. Arts and Science College, Karmadai. Dr.V.Suguna,Principal, welcomed the gathering. V. Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, presided over the event.V. Gopalakrishnan, Former MLA and Trustee of the college, Secretary. R.Sundar, Secretary, inaugurated the tournament. Nearly 40 teams took part in the event. The sports enthusiasts performed fantastically and showed their exemplary skills and sportsmanship. Narain Sports Club, Tholampalayam was the winning team and they were awarded with a trophy and Rs. 4000 cash prize. Sathyaveeran Team from Tholampalayam bagged second prize with trophy and Rs. 3000 cash prize. Yuva Challengers, Tholampalayam won third place with Rs. 2000 cash prize and SRKV, Periyanaickenpalayam got fourth place with Rs. 1000 cash prize. N.Jayaprabhakaran of Narain sports club received Best Defence Player award and S.Boopathi of Sathyaveeran team got Best Offense Player award. The game proved events like this are so beneficial for students to do together.
