Google is the world’s favorite search engine. From kids to Grandparents, everyone depends on it these days. If I want to know about anything, all I need to do is just say the magic words “OK Google”. We love Google so much that we have made it a verb in our daily life : ‘Hey just Google it, dude’, ‘I google-d it’ and the word goes so on. Google has sidelined Yahoo, Bing and other once famous web search engines.
Now Google has entered into the world of shopping. Google has launched the website ‘Google Shopping’. When you click www.google.com/shopping , you will be taken to the site which resembles the interface we are prone to but it has more items similar to what we want. It offers a wide range of product-categories like Gadgets&Electronics, Skin Care, Health and beauty items, Clothing, Books, Home decoration and much more.
Though Google is new to online shopping, it has the potential to emerge as a competition to e-shopping giants like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal. Good luck, Google.
