The Department of Environmental Science, PSG College of Arts and Science organized an alumni reunion at the college premises for the batches from 1985 – 2023. The function began with a Tree Plantation, Prayer Song, and Lighting of Kuthuvizhakku.
Dr. G. M. Dwarakanath, an alumnus welcomed the gathering. Three retired faculty members were honored. The felicitation address was given by Dr. T. Kannaian, Secretary.
The alumni members donated an LCD Projector to the Environmental Science department. Financial Assistance of Rs. 750/- each was provided to two best-performing students. The alumni members also contributed a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- towards the Alumni Platinum Jubilee Auditorium. 105 alumni attended the reunion.
