M.V.Ramesh Babu, President, CODISSIA has been appointed as one of the 14 members in the State Planning Commission –Working Group on Industrial Policy.
This group will play a key role in formulation of new policy on Industrialization Policy for a Transitioning Economy.
Throwing more light on this topic, an official press release mentioned that the State Planning Commission has been reconstituted with Vice Chairman, Full Time Member and Part-Time members. It further stated that in the SPC Meeting chaired by CM of Tamil Nadu on July 2nd, it was resolved to prepare New Policies on 10 specific themes and to be released by January 2022.
