– MNM’s VP Mahendran charges Incumbent MLA

Makkal Needhi Maiam’s (MNM) Vice President Dr.R.Mahendran, who is the party’s candidate at Singanallur Constituency shared the requests from the public of the region to him during his campaign, that included the need for basic amenities, which he said the incumbent MLA Na. Karthik had failed to provide.

“There has been no development projects nor basic amenities that have been done in the Singanallur constituency, but yet the MLA fund of Rs 17.5 crores is missing and no one knows what it was used for”

He said “In the 19 wards of the Singanallur constituency where I am contesting, people are always complaining about the lack of basic amenities like roads, drinking water supply, drainage system and toilet facilities in the constituency. I am confused on how the MLA fund of 17.5 crore rupees was used.”

“If people choose me, I will provide permanent solutions to resolve such basic amenities for the public of my constituency.”

“Apart from this, there is a huge population of small scale industries in my constituency, so keeping that in mind an industrial estate will be developed in the constituency.” Dr Mahendran then campaigned in the areas of Ramanuja Nagar, Periyar Nagar and nearby areas.
