Dr.RMR Pasarai celebrated the 262nd Birthday of freedom fighter and Tamil king Veerapandiya Kattabomman at Perundarai and Tirupur.
Former Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Government and Founder of Dr.RMR Pasarai Ram Mohan Rao inaugurated the celebration by hoisting the pasarai’s flag at Perundurai Bus stand and delivered his speech.
Regarding this birthday celebration, a press release from the Pasarai conveyed that it will celebrate all the birth anniversary of various leaders who have fought for the development of the community like Tirumalai Nayakkar, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Onediveeran Pulithevan, Marudhu brothers, Azagu Muthukon, Adhithanar Narayansamy Naidu.
Later, the followers of Pasarai were assembled in front of the Veerapandiya Kaatabomman statue at Oothukuli road at Tirupur. Ram Mohan Rao honored the Iconic leader’s statue with a garland and delivered a speech there.
