Government announces new deadline for UGC-NET & other entrance exams

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Sunday that the deadline for 5 major entrance exams – UGC-NET, IGNOU-Ph.D, JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam) , ICAR (Indian Council for Agricultural Research) and Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2020 have been revised to help the students.

He tweeted from his official profile and said that taking in view of many requests received from students and the understanding the hardships faced by them due to COVID-19 epidemic, he has advised National Testing Agency  to further extend the last dates of submission of Online Application Forms of the exams ( that is mentioned above*)

National Testing Agency has issued an official notification about the same. Previously the deadline for all these 5 tests were set on May 31, 2020 but the new revised date is now June 15, 2020. The submission of the online form will be accepted till 5 p.m. and the fee could be paid up to 11.50 p.m. The fee could be paid through Credit-card, Debit-card, Net-Banking, UPI and PayTM.
