Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the UGC has instructed colleges to teach the students in online mode, and also adapt to other digital platforms to clear the questions of students and conduct model exams.
Keeping in mind the health and welfare of students, Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College has made use of the online programs and applications to teach the students. The college says that students can tag along with their class and learn, raise questions and even write exams.
Professors have taken steps to teach the syllabus via video interaction from their home through platforms like Google Classroom, EDMONDO, Canvas, NPTEL, SWAYAM, Spoken Tutorial, YouTube, Moodle and Kahoot. Classes through online mode is already going-on and students are making good use of the internet enabled technologies in education, a report from the college mentioned.
The steps for this digital- learning were taken under the advice of Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr.NGP Arts and Science College and executed by Dr.O.T.Bhuvaneswaran, CEO, V.Rajendiran, Principal,Deans and Professors in Digital Learning Center of Dr.NGP Arts and Science College.
