Kumaran Medical CENTER (KMC) which is entering its 2nd year in Healthcare Service in Coimbatore launched Siemens Sempra MRI on Sunday (March 1, 2020)
This advanced medical equipment was inaugurated by S.N.Subramaniam, Chairman, SNS Group of Institutions in the presence of Dr.D.Hari Prasad, Chairman, KMC and Dr.P.Kavitha, Vice Chairman, KMC.
Dr. Hari Prasad said we are pleased to launch this Siemens Sempra MRI as we enter the 2nd year of our hospital. One of the huge advantage of this MRI is its silence. It will have just one-third of the noises when compared with other MRI. This makes the patient, even children feel comfortable when the test is done.
Talking about the milestones of the hospital’s first year in medical service, he said that in the past year the hospital has done approximately 1000 surgeries, more than 350 angiogram and angioplasty and 15-20 deliveries per month have been done.
He added that in their 2nd year, the hospital will start a Renal Transplant Facility and Coronary By-Pass Facility.
