Also conducts inaugural of third batch of students
The Convocation of the first batch and Inauguration of the third batch of students of Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Coimbatore was held on Saturday, the 10 August 2019 at the Institute’s premises. The Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Dr. B. K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar participated as the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation address. He also presented degree certificates to the graduates and distributed academic awards and medals.
The Chairman of Dr. SVK Educational Charities,Dr. S. V.Kandasamy presided over the function while the Managing Director of Shiva Texyarn&Managing Trustee of Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Dr. S. K.Sundararaman addressed the students and guests on the occasion. Trustees of Dr. SVK Educational Trust, S. V.Alagappan, S. V.Arumugam, Leelavathy Kandasamy, and Sujana Abirami Sundararaman were among those who attended the function. The Dean & Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, Prof. Arvind Subramanyam highlighted the various achievements and growth of the Institute during the year under report. The Director of the Institute,Dr.PremaSankaran proposed the Vote of Thanks. Distinguished guests and invitees from the city, members of faculty, parents, graduates and current students attended the function.
The best academic performer of the batch 2017-2019 award was bagged by Aravind Annamalai while the award for the best Outgoing Student was won by Shravan Anand.
