The Department of Management Studies of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College organized an extension activity on ‘Self Development for Women’ through self-help Group on 27.07.19 at Veeriampalayam village, Coimbatore.
The Chief Guest of the function was M.Navamani, Community Organizer, Mahalir Thittam, Coimbatore. She addressed the gathering with her dynamic speech on self-development and she stated the value of using the business opportunities. She mentioned that there are more women entrepreneurs emerging daily across the world. They account for a large share of small and medium sector. She also mentioned that the government, too, has introduced several schemes and programs that aim at promoting and encouraging women to come out and take the leading role.
Earlier Prof. Dr. S.Mohan, Head-Department of Management Studies, welcomed the gathering. At the end of the event, D.Geethamani, Assistant Professor – Department of Management Studies, Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College proposed the Vote of Thanks.
