Intl Conf. on Intelligent Digital Transformation at SREC

The Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) jointly conducted a three-day AICTE and CSIR sponsored First International Conference on Intelligent Digital Transformation (ICIDT 2019)

This conference was conducted with an aim to exchange novel ideas in Digital Transformation. Around 250 papers were received from National and International participants and around 130 papers were selected for Oral and Poster presentations under the topics  of Cryptography and Cyber Security, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing , Data Science, Vehicle Tracking Systems, Wind Energy Technologies, Geo Physics and Biochemistry.

The Chief Guest of the day was Shankar Venugopal, Vice President, Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai. He spoke on Disruptive technologies and the leading innovation of the present scenario. He also added how five Ds – Digitize, Deception, Dematerialization, Demonetization, Dematerialization leads to big differences in the IT sector which is both blessing and disguise.

The first day of the conference started with the Preconference tutorial on IOT and Drones and Preconference Tutorial on Industrial IOT and Digital twin using MATLAB.

The resource persons of the day were Gaurav Singal, Department of CSE, Bennett University (Times New Group), Greater Noida and Rajkumar D, Engineer – (Technical Support – MathWorks), Design Tech Systems Limited, Chennai. Around 260 Participants from various Institutions in and around Tamil Nadu, Industry Delegates, Academicians, Research Scholars and Students from Karnataka, Kerala presented and participated in the International Conference and benefited out of the program.
