The Teachers Recruit Board has made the notification available for the Direct Recruitment for the post of Post Graduate Assistants / Physical Education Directors Grade-I in School Education and other Departments for the year 2018-2019 via its official website.
The total no. of vacancies available is 2144. All applications should be sent via online mode only. Interested people with the necessary qualification can apply from 24.6.2019 onwards and the last date is 15.7.2019 (till 5.00 PM). All the educational qualifications for the posts, the detailed amount of vacancies in all divisions, scheme of examination, important dates and everything a candidate needs to know about the examination, results and selection are given in detail in the website. The application process and the payment for the examination should be made online through the website only. If you clear the examination and are selected for either of the posts, the minimum pay will be Rs. 36,900.
Educational Qualifications for Post Graduate Assistants:
PG with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution (or) PG with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institution (or) PG with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., from any NCTE recognized institution. Candidates should not be over 57 years as on 0 1-07-2019 as the age of superannuation is 58 years.
Educational Qualifications for PED:
Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with at least 55% marks as per National Council for Teacher Education (or) At least 50% or B.P.E degree / B.P.Ed (Integrated) 4 years professional degree in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (or) B.P.Ed with at least 55% or B.P.E Course (or its equivalent) of 3 years duration with at least 50% marks and M.P.Ed of at least 2 years duration from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. Regarding the salary, the minimum pay for both jobs starts at Rs.36900.
