Kumaraguru Centre of Industrial Research and Innovation (KC.IRI) launched the Skill Development Training Program in Product Design Engineering to create a pool of skilled and industry ready product design engineers for the industries through an industry supported training framework. The Program is supported by leading product development, R&D and Manufacturing Industries like Altran, Sunsil, L&T, Roots, LMW, Pricol, Cameron etc.
The program duration is for three months commencing from 27 May 2019 to 30 Aug 2019. The unique feature of the program is project based learning by industry mentors. The total intake for the year 2018-19 is 16 students with the criteria of B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile, Aeronautical and Production Engineering) 2018 & 2019 passed out with minimum 7.0 CGPA & No history of arrears.
Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru College of Technology presided over the program & G.R. Mohan , Director, Sunsil Engineers inaugurated the program , J. Saravanan, Technical Unit Manager, Altran & J. Senthil, Principal, KCT felicitated and handed over the training offer letters to the students amidst the presence of Industry Mentors, KCT Faculty & Staff, KCIRI Team.
