Feeding room inaugurated at CBE Junction

A mothers’ feeding room, set up by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown at the city railway station was inaugurated recently. Dustbins were also donated to the railway station for keeping the station premises clean. The facility was inaugurated by U.Subba Rao, DRM in presence of Rtn. AV Pathy, Governor of Rotary District 3201.

Speaking at the inaugural function Rtn. Krishnananda , President, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown said, Rotary clubs have been playing a major role in reaching the welfare schemes of the central and state government to the people at the grassroots level.

This noble service would be provided at all railway stations in Coimbatore district. In order to keep the railway station premises spick and span, the rotary club has donated 20 garbage bins for collecting bio-degradable and non-biodegradable solid waste.
