Adithya School of Business Management (ASBM) Coimbatore recently organized an Experiential Learning Day at HCG Enterprises Ltd in Bangalore. The event was granted by Chairman Er. Sukumaran and featured expert training by Major Deepti Gowtham Tiwari, Vice President, HR, along with her team members Jagannath, GM, HR, Prince TT, GM, HR, Pankaj Sharma, AGM, TA, and Naveen Narasappa, AGM, HR from HCG Enterprises Ltd. The event, held on 8th June 2023 at the corporate training office in Bangalore, engaged students and faculty in a comprehensive training program.
The panel of experts from HCG Enterprises Ltd, who manage 24 different business locations with approximately 10,000 employees across India, provided valuable insights and learning opportunities in various corporate domains. Deepti focused on the top employability skills necessary for success in the corporate world. Communication skills, business acumen competency, planning and organization abilities, and an open-minded understanding were key areas addressed during the training. Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, along with Lakshmikanth and Krishnaveni, Assistant Professors, greeted and facilitated the event.
The training sessions incorporated different methods such as role plays on compensation management and grievance redressal, brainstorming on organizational dynamics, and discussions on KRAs (Key Result Areas) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). The students and faculty members greatly benefited from the well-rounded corporate training presented in a typical corporate environment. Overall, the event provided valuable insights and learning opportunities, enhancing the students’ knowledge and skills in preparation for their future careers.
