The Graduate Design Show 2023, an Annual Fashion event conducted by the Department of Apparel Fashion Designing, TIPS College of Arts and Science. The show showcases the Graduate collections of the final-year students of Batch 2020.
The secretary Narayanan & CEO Nithya Narayanan honoured the graduates. Hemanalini, Principal of TIPSCAS facilitated the function, followed by the inaugural address by Venugopal, Principal of TIPSSOM.
The programme was witnessed by several invitees and TIPS Alumni from the field of fashion, photography, jewelry designing, makeup artist and influencers. Abinithi Sammbavi, the founder of Sambhavi – a handloom fashion label spoke about her upcoming brand. She seeks to revive the handloom crafts done by artisans all over India. Shanmuga Priya, Swaroopa Muthusivan, Aparna Sunku, Sangeetha Peter and Sangeetha offered their insightful views regarding their experiences in the field as well as the Graduate show. The Best Performance, Best Designer and Best Collection awards were presented to the students.
