Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore conducted the VC Trophy 2023 Hockey Tournament for both men and women at its Stadium from 31.03.2023 to 02.04.2023. The Coimbatore district Colleges and clubs were invited to participate in this tournament. In Total 17 Teams (13 men and 4 women teams) from various colleges and clubs participated.
The hockey tournament was inaugurated by
Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor, TNAU. She delivered the Chief Guest address. Forest Hockey Club, CBE won under Men category and Bharathiar University won under Women category.
The Valedictory function Professor,
Venkat Prabhu, delivered the Welcome Address and Raviraj, Dean (Engineering) felicitated the gathering. The Vice Chancellor distributed the Prizes. The tournament was concluded with a vote of thanks by Desiga Srinivasan, Assistant Director of Physical Education.
