Early on 31.07.2018, Tuesday, via Twitter PM Modi invited the citizens of our nation to suggest him topics for his address on the 72nd Independence Day of India. He wrote “What are your thoughts and ideas for my 15th August speech? Share them with me on a specially created forum on the NarendraModi App”. The Prime Minister has 43 million followers in Twitter and as soon as the tweet was sent, replies from his followers for the post flooded. In that same tweet he mentioned at the bottom “I look forward to receiving your fruitful inputs in the coming days”. This will be the fifth time for our PM to address from the Red Fort and he has previously sought ideas and themes from his fellow countrymen.
