This new feature supports up to 4 participants. Many tech savvy folks would say Whatsapp has come too late to the party in regards to this feature as Skype, Facebook and Snapchat all offer much more than what Whatsapp offers.
So what makes Whatsapp stand out of the competition? Simple, it is just the numbers game. According to online statistics and market research giant Staista, Facebook Messenger has 1.3 billion users and Skype has just 300 million users while Whatsapp has 1.5 billion active global users(and it’s climbing every day).
