NASA seeks $26 Billion from Govt. for space exploration!

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has asked the US Parliament to provide $26 billion next year to place astronauts on the Moon & Mars. The Biden-administration has submitted this request before the US Parliament.

This new budget request for space exploration is 8% higher than what was approved by the US Parliament last year. Reports state that NASA is focused on sending humans to Mars and once again land on the Moon by 2040.

“The American space agency said that the fiscal year budget would allow it to sustain global innovation leadership and keep it at the forefront of exploration and discovery by returning to the Moon with the Artemis program, among other efforts,” India Today reported.

“Greater than a number, statistic, or fact is what the President’s budget request represents. It’s an investment in the businesses and universities that partner with NASA in all 50 states and the good-paying jobs they are creating. It’s a signal of support for our missions in a new era of exploration and discovery,” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said.
