KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) has been bestowed with the first runner up All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Lilavati Award on Tuesday.
The award was presented for their outstanding work towards human empowerment under the sub-theme Environment, Sanitation and Hygiene.
The awards ceremony was held at the AICTE Headquarters, New Delhi, and AICTE Chairman Anil Sahasrabudhe gave away the awards. M.Akila, Principal and Professors Geetha, Kavitha and Rithika received this award.
Around 500 teams participated in the competition. The awards were conferred for the teams’ contribution towards a more equitable society.
