PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PSG IMSR) celebrated its 28th Graduation Ceremony recently.
148 MBBS graduates, 69 Postgraduates (Broad & Superspeciality), received their course completion certificates. Apart from this, 22 academic awards to the toppers of various subjects in the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University examinations were presented.
A press release from the institution mentioned that Dr. C.S.Praneetha was bestowed with the GRG Memorial Gold Medal for the Best All-Round Graduate, and Dr. R. Balachandar bagged the G V Memorial Gold Medal for the Best Outgoing Graduate.
L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG &Sons’ Charities presided over the ceremony and addressed the graduands. Earlier, Dr. T.M SubbaRao, Principal, of the college welcomed the gathering.
Dr. K Deepalakshmi, Professor & Head, Department of Physiology administered the Oath of Hippocrates to all the new graduates, while Dr. V Ramamoorthy, Professor & Head, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation gave charge to the graduates.
