As a part of Worlds Women’s Day, Chandran’s Yuva Foundation & Tasya Women Empowerment Organization installed a Free Sanitary Napkins Vending Machines at Gov. Medical Hospitals here today (8.3.2017).
Dr.Vijaya Karthikeyan, IAS Corporation Commissioner, K.Periaiah, IPS, City Police Commissioner inaugurated the free sanitary napkins vending machines. Sanitary napkins destroys was inaugurated by Dr.B.Asokan, Dean – Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.
Saranya Ari, I.A.S Assistant Collector presented the first sanitary napkin to the public. Dr. R.Soundiravel, MD., RMO and Dr. Sherin Philip, District Social Welfare Officer were the guest of honor.
