Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aakruthi, which is the exclusive Rotary Club for women, installed its 16th President Rtn.Kavitha Gopalakrishnan, its Secretary Rtn.Sapna Chajed and other office bearers in a formal ceremony on Wednesday.
Rtn.Shanthi Rajasekhar, First Lady of Rotary Dist. 3201 was the Chief Guest, Rtn.Ganeshkumar, Assistant Governor and Rtn.Jayakumar, GGR, Rtn.AKS. Leema Rose Martin,were present at the event.
Rtn.S.Akilandeswari, the outgoing President of the club handed over the President’s Collar to the incoming president during the event, and congratulated the new team of office bearers.
During the event several welfare activities and donations were made by the members of RCC Aakruthi. Rtn. AKS. Leena Rose Martin pledged to donate 100,000 USD for The Rotary Foundation
