CIT organizes Go-Green Project, increases its Green-Cover

Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) organized Go-Green project in collaboration with Iyarkai Foundation and HDFC Bank on Wednesday at CIT Campus.

V.Selladurai, Advisor, A,Rajeswari, Principal I/C, S.Shanmugam, Dean-Students Affairs, Chief Guest B.Naresh Kumar and G.V.Mohan Kumar, G.Suganya Priyadharshini, S.Karthik Kumar, V.G.Kalpana, S.K.Pradeep Mohan , Coordinators and Organizers from Iyarkai Foundation M.Vinoth Raj and Arima Loganathan took part in the event.

A press-release from the college said “CIT has encouraged the practice of planting sapling for club events and other ceremonies. The Go-Green motive and the culture of planting saplings has made CIT a green campus with more than 1000 trees. This initiative with foundations makes our campus lush green and also to inculcate the habit of planting samplings for the incoming batch of students.”
