As per the direction of Tamil Nadu Government, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore has decided to re-open post-graduate colleges on 12.07.2021 for PG research work. Majority of the students wishing to resume the research work to complete thesis work and encash employment opportunities in time.
With this background, all constituent colleges in TNAU on war footing have taken all necessary steps to ensure that PG scholars will have a safe and secure environment in this new normal world by adopting the guidelines and standard operating procedures such as physical distancing, use of face masks and practice of frequent handwashing with soap.
It must be noted that TNAU had provided uninterrupted education to its Master’s and Doctoral students through timely implementation of remote teaching program as early as April 2020 in spite of COVID 19 pandemic situation.
The online assessments for the coursework of 35 masters and 29 doctoral programs were also successfully completed by facilitating the students to take up tests from home.
