JewelOne sets up Quarantine facility at Periyanaickenpalayam

JewelOne, a retail jewelry brand from the house of Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited, has set up a 300-bedded covid care center at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Periyanakanpalayam.

The centre has 290 beds, 10 oxygen beds, and comes equipped with fans, purified drinking water, wifi facility, TV projector with DTC, charging points and even gaming facilities. The centre is wholly managed and operated by JewelOne. The kitchen staff at the centre will be preparing immunity boosting meals and snacks to patients admitted there.

Tamil Nadu Food and Civil Supplies Minister R.Sakkarapani, Forest Minister K.Ramachandran, PRG Arun Kumar, MLA, Kavundampalayam Constituency did the inauguration along with Emerald Jewel Industry’s management on Friday.

K.Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director, Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd said “the pandemic has disturbed the lives of everyone and the current spike in the city is extremely concerning. The welfare of the society is primarily on our minds. Our social responsibility is continually driving us to provide relief for the people around us. Though the time now is disheartening, we are certain that with joint efforts of the government and the public, we will get through this phase.”
